The overall control of this scheme of studies and examinations are under the ministry of labour national
council for vocational training. The aim of this craftsman Training scheme is to impart job oriented
industrial training scheme all over India which helps a candidate to mould himself as a skilled technician
and to secure a good job without any delay. After the Successful completion of the course – the candidate
can appear for the All India Trade Test and the passed-out trainees are to get provisional and National
Trade Certificate given by State and Central Govt.
Minimum qualification for Admission:
S.S.L.C (pass)
NB: These passed-out NCVT certificate holders are eligible to select their 3rd year course of training as Paid Apprentice under Apprentice Act –1961 and can appear for the National Apprenticeship Trade Test which will enable the candidate to award Three-Year course certificate.
